For eight years now, I have been using Reef Fusion 1 and 2. In the past year, I have added magnesium to my third Bubble magnus port. The reason it was added is because my Mg levels were low(950 according to Red Sea). Now I am consistently above 1500. The ingredients on the Reef Fusion product are a little vague for my liking, but show Mg in its ingredients. I also believe that most Mg test kits are not accurate. So my question is: Should I be dosing Mg even though Fusion 1 and 2 contain Mg. I can test the same sample of water with three different Red Sea test kits and the results vary by roughly 350ppm.

Honestly, I have the same issue with my red sea mag test kit. My current test kit was saying my mag was consistently 1200-1300 range and then when I bought a mg refill it was saying my mag was 1500-1600 consistently. What's most important is that your calc and alk are staying put. That is a good indication (from what I understand) that your mag is where it needs to be.
