So if you could only chose between Reef Code AB liquid or powder or Seachem Fusion 1&2 to dose thru an Apex Dose... Which would you chose and why?

Why would those be the only two choices?

I'd rather choose a product from a company that I trusted to understand their products.

Who makes the 1st product? I really like seachem products...
D

Why do you like Seachem products?

Reef Fusion is not properly designed to be the 1:1 two part they claim it to be.

I used to use the Improved Do-it-Yourself Two-Part Calcium and Alkalinity Supplement System by Randy Holmes-Farley. Since I have a nearly airtight house that traps CO2, my pH gets too low due to "aquarium acidification" from the CO2 buildup. I now use kalkwasser which uses the CO2 in the water to create calcium and carbonate for the corals. I also add washing soda (baked baking soda) to keep my alk in balance.

Of course, magnesium is part of the overal "2-part". I use a mix of magnesium sulfate (Epsom salts) and magnesium chloride (ice melt).

My annual expense for this stuff is about $20.

Those are the brand that are redely available at my lfs. I have been using fusion but after reading that same thread you posted I thought it might be time for a change. I am trying to use up all my seachem products and go with other brands. I'm sure I could order other brands including the BRS but the brightwell products are also available. Just wondering what else people are using besides the popular BRS stuff.

32oz and 64oz available at popular online retailers if your looking for premixed. I'm all for supporting my LFS and most of mine will match online prices from brick and mortar stores but if they don't have or cant get what I need then online it is.

No they are not. It doesn't matter to me what some company claims or doesn't. Or what's in their product I only care if it works for me.
I used up a lot more of their #1 than I did their #2 so that makes sense.
I did see an increase in # after.dose.so.guess that's why I'm partial to it. Never used brightwell products except mb7 back when it 1st came.out.
I didn't see a difference in my aquarium when I used it.
