Taking a step to the side, but I figure lots of people here might be truck people. Anyone have a Tacoma or thoughts on the new 2024 coming out later this year/early next year?
I don’t. I drive a 2011 ford f150 because it’s paid off and still a nice truck. If I was ever looking at a new truck, I would be looking at those tacomas though. I just think they are really nice trucks.

I use poly fil. LOVE IT

Me too. So easy and does the job.
I designed a Polyfil cup for my sump and sent it over to the library. I asked for 2 copies and they quoted me $12. I asked if that was for 2 and they replied back "Oops. No, that's each." $25 to replace my 7" socks isn't bad but I realized I made it 7" deep... Not sure I need that much Polyfil. Gonna redesign a little shallower.

I have a Tacoma (2022) and it's awesome, great trucks built to last. Higher average lifespan than any other non diesel truck
I'm going to have to replace the Caddy soon. Now that my daughter is ready to start driving I need something smaller and was thinking a quad cab Tacoma.

Hard to beat a paid off car. I have a 2001 Toyota Highlander. It gets me from A to B and can carry my surf boards and beach gear. I haven't had a truck since high school, but figure with a 3 year old getting older I'll probably be doing lots of beach trips living in San Diego, so truck looks like a good call. I'm thinking the same thing, a quad cab Tacoma, I'm not hauling anything so I don't think I need a Tundra.

What about the tundra did you like better, is it the cabin? That is one of the things I read the 2024 Tacoma is upgrading for once, so the interior cabin is supposed to be a big upgrade, as well as powertrain, torque, and lots of other changes.
I liked that it was the size of a truck mostly lol. My personal vehicle is a 4 door diesel and ive been in an f-150 company truck for the last 8 years until i quit and went to a different company a year ago so im used to having more room in the cab. It also has a lot nicer features on the inside than the tacoma. And of course the bigger engine is nice. The tacoma was fun tho because it felt like driving a go cart… until i learned the gps trackers on the trucks werent only for theft lol…

My Yukon pulls the camper. I need a little 4*4 to take off road for hunting. A truck is cheaper than a jeep but I might end up looking at a smaller SUV.

The quad cab tacoma sounds like it will do everything you want it for. It will be a lot easier on the gas bill compared to a tundra too. I got like 26mpg in the tacoma and im getting like 16 in the tundra.

The new hybrids get even more. Thinking of going with a hybrid.

Here's a quick shot of the Toys Story and Monkey Bomb. Both looking good still, hopefully it keeps up!
