Well we are completely wet and running. Lots of cleanup today while cycle is happening.

Thru the Neptune grow light on the fuge. After cycle I’ll get some sort of algae in there not sure what kind yet. Open to suggestions.

Need to build two separate controller panels for each side.

Going to put my ATO reservoir outside of the main cabinet.

Need to figure out how I want to rig the lights. I feel like this is gonna serve well in helping me to control the impulse to turn the lights on before 30 days.

I have 15# of Australian live rock coming in and I can’t wait for that. Will help seed the aquarium along with the 25# of sump rock I was able to pick up from a buddies sump that I had cooking since October.

Just cherry picked some Australian live rock to give my tank a rocket ship of organisms and life. I can practically smell the pictures. Can’t wait to get these in my paws and into the reef tomorrow. I’ll post an opening video of the box tomorrow and some closeup pics tomorrow.

Thanks @Eric Cohen

Your tank is looking great!! Love the live rock I bet that will give some great coralline algae to the tank
Thanks so much. Hopefully we get some cool varieties of red pink purples and oranges

Still really don’t know what my tank looks like since it hasn’t been lit up yet.

First time doing a fuge out some mud and 3 kinds of macros in there and dumped a few glasses of pods in there. Wonder if it’s too soon to be doing this? Oh well here goes.

adding light mount ideas to this thread so others can chime in. If your ceiling is too high for a ceiling mount you could do a mount like mine but since the tank is already full the L shape of the brackets would have to be upside down compared to mine. So the brackets attached to the wall would have to be above your tank on the wall attached to studs. It is not hard. you can see in my light mount video. 2 long brackets attached to the studs then attach the L shape to those 2 brackets. Not sure how well it could hinge like mine since the L is now upside down but the 8020 website has all sorts of hinges to check out.
