Monday I should have the new tank. Innovative Marine 25g Nuvo Pro 2 Lagoon. As with most build this is for me to watch progress and keep tabs on the tank and not have rely on my memory to what the parameters were three weeks ago. Really want this to be as simple as possible.

Equipment
IM 25g Lagoon
AI 16HD Upgrading to Noo-Psyche K7 Pro V3
Hygger Mini 1600 gph wavemaker (a little later)
15lbs live rock ( NOT THE DRY STUFF THIS TIME)

Livestock
will transfer from my 4g to this one but add more for sure.

Current Full stank Shot 5/30/24

Tank came in this evening. Unboxed it enough to make sure the sides were not broken. Didn’t even take it out of the second box. Still have to finish up the stand waiting on leveling feet to arrive so I know the stand will sit perfectly level on my not so level floors. Will get some photos tomorrow IM packs their tanks well for shipping.

This will be fun to watch. Good idea using your build thread as a journal.

Already looking at new fish to add to the new tank and it is not even close to having water in it yet.

Fish list 3 maybe 4 fish max
Green Banded Goby (currently in 4g tank for two years)
Purple Firefish
Bicolor Blennie (might be too big

I believe those will be ok together but still researching.

Keep me posted on the Hygger. I'm considering one or two of the smallest one they make.

and just because, 27-25.

Decided im going with 20 pounds of premium aquacultured liverock from gulfliverock.com. Was thinking about going with 10 pounds of dry rock and then 10 pound liverock but the heck with it all liverock it will be. I have about 40 pounds of agragonite sand for my old FOWLR system that has been washed and stored in my garage so I will reclean that to clear running water rinse with RODI and put about 1.5" layer down just hope it doesn't blow away with the current.

I ordered 15lbs dry and 2 small foundation rocks from BRS... Didnt end up using all the rock and everytime I walk by the tank I think i have too much rock in it.
Good to know as I do want open space for coral that like the sandbed.

I don't have the tank up yet. Need to get some lumber to finish the stand and waiting on the leveling feet to come in as well. Will get some pictures this afternoon for a short update.

Got the hygger mini today and wow it is smaller than I expected. With all the rain we have been getting the last couple of weeks I can’t get the lumber to finish my stand and next week is finals week for the students so that is a bust until Wednesday when I have half days.

Yeah depending on how much it moves water might have to get a second. We will see. Get my Dept. Head stipend next week so some of that will go to the tank. Looking to have it wet by June 13-15th.
