So I had 4 clownfish, a pair of black ocellaris and a pair of picassos in my QT. The QT tank crashed due to temp spike and bacterial bloom (lack of oxygen) and I lost 1 black ocellaris. I was thinking of putting the 2 picassos in the DT and keeping the black ocellaris in the QT with a new buddy so they can get friendly. For the last 3 weeks it's been nothing but harmony. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Billy

Although you are likely to get a mix of answers, IME I would stick to one pair of clowns in a 90g. It may work, but clowns are driven by aggression and will likely end up with issues. Good luck with whatever you choose!

I have 10 and 4 are breeding pairs. The advantage I see with 3 is that often as they can change sexes, one becomes a dominant female which displays a hierarchy and becomes dominant terrorizing the other loan fish by taking all the food, cornering the fish and claiming territory. With two, it makes it more difficult for her to accomplish it easily
