I am putting together a mixed reef 40 breeder and would like some suggestions for lighting. I have decided to go LED only and I'm currently looking at purchasing one Radion XR30 Gen 4, however I'm not sure if only one will be sufficient? Anybody running just one LED fixture on a 40 breeder or something with similar dimensions? Also I welcome any other recommendations and any input would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on your aquascape, but yes I ran a 40g breeder with the gen3 xr30w with wide angle lens. Two of these was too much for my tank. The gen4 has more spread, so one will be fine. If you want to do two islands though, maybe 2 xr15s is another way to go?
