Starting to plan out plumbing on my 700 gallon reef tank. Completely new build to replace my other 700 gal tank. I wanted to use two redundant pumps as backup to each other and for flow (2 x Hammerhead Barracuda Hybrd Gold). It has 4 returns from 2 overflows. I was wondering what you guys think. Just take two returns off of each pump but I also need to plump in chiller, inline heater, RK2 commercial skimmer and a manifold (to run supply for calcium reactor, GFO reactors).

Love it and new construction too. Two of my favorite things, Close third is demolition which leads to #1 and #2 :D

Awesome! Looking forward to your build. The Barracuda hybrid rocks. I have one as CL on my system and it is the real deal. I also really like the Vectras!

How deep is your tank? I went same route but honestly kinda wish I'd gone Halide. I'm running 8 Radions 6 Kessils narrow lens tonpenetrate 48" deep plus 2 48" AtI T5s

Nice!! I'm 96 by 36 but 48 deep which makes any task such a mission. Kessils are awesome. Love their shimmer. What filtration are you aiming for?

I have a RK25PE skimmer and use bulk reef supply GFO. I have a UV light on my old 720 Gallon but I think I am not going to use on new tank. The bulb burned out like for 1 year and never saw any change before i realized it burned out.

I just installed mine. I'm going with a koralin denitrator. Your going full blown SPS? Planning heavy livestock?

Tank is now 6 months in and progressing good. Parameters are good also.
