Don't get me started on English.. First off, why do we use the same word for 2 different things all the time. We name sounds a dog makes after tree skin??? Ridiculous.

It's not my first language anyway, my native tongue is Igpay Atinlay.

Ananabay for scale?

Morning blues: (BLUES IS ANOTHER ONE )

In Barcelona my friends would often ask me why we have the same spelling for completely different words.

Not to get into the difficulty of pronouncing English words (especially British English) when your primary language reads every letter phonetically. Try "neighbourhood".

I tried that once and just moved to the woods since it's easier to pronounce.

Then there’s
Would
Wood
And of course any other similar word that my spellchecker tries to maim
Ex:
Well tries to change to We’ll
-on my phone almost every time.
