Those fans you are using, how noisy is that rack of fans? Everything looking great.

I can barely hear them when standing right next to the tank

Turns out that the guys who make these tops have an issue they are unable to overcome. The top begins to curl at the edges on long tops. This makes the top ugly and over long term unusable. This is unfortunate since i really like the look of the top.

The problem is the acrylic. Acrylic soaks up moisture and starts to warp.

Marine grade polycarbonate would be a better material, fairly pricey though.

I see this tank is for sale now. It was an inspiration for our build. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

It was for sale due to a move. I never ended up selling the tank. I was probably asking too much and ended up cracking the tank. I ended up keeping the stand and will reuse it in my new home in the months to come. I plan on setting up a new system with a 180 gallon DT and a new 93 gallon Display both connected to the same basement sump. New thread will be starting soon.

Just got a quote from Planet Aquariums for the replacement cube. Still waiting on a quote for the 180. Hopefully new thread will be started by end of summer.
