Getting to be that time of year again when the tank gets the attention it deserves. Not many changes over the summer, just things growing and less water changes than I should do. Here's where it is at:

Since we had our first freeze last night I guess that means its fish tank time and the annual update. Here is where the tank is at.

The summers neglect resulted in some cyano issues as can been seen in the photos but for the most part the corals did well. The birds of paradise is always a bit temperamental when it starts getting larger, I am not sure if it is because of shading issues or if the ALK crept up, but its not the first time it has receded from the base up. I just take some small frags from the tips and start over, its a pretty fast grower anyway.

On a different note however, due to how packed the tank is getting, I couldn't pass up an amazon deal for a rimless 80g. It only took them 3 tries and about 6 months to get it to my door unbroken!
