A very stubborn limescale to deal with, what now ?

Hello everyone!

After removing silicone stains from my 300l tank, I still have a lot of limescale.
Which is just enough to be seen and it is very irritating.
I have tried: citric acid, vinegar (20%), acetone, ethanol... with an algae scraper, nothing really worked.
What would you try ?

I have cleaned sea shells with muriatic acid before. just be really careful while using it but it can dissolve any calcium build up.

Yes, that's what I was thinking about, but I am worried about the silicone seals of the tank, won't the acid harm it ?

Seconding this question... I have a used tank (and especially Sump) that I'd like to have perfect before I fill and start usingit. And I don't need any additional issues with the already prone to issues Red Sea 350v3. :p
