Added new pulsing xenia and it doesn’t look like it’s doing to good

I got my pulsing xenia about 3 days ago and it hasn’t seemed to like my tank very much. It’s very droopy and all the heads are closed so it looks like it might die soon. My water parameters are all good so i don’t what could be wrong with it. Please let me know what’s going on if you can.

I wouldn't sweat Xenia too much. Check your parameters and if they are good, try something like zoanthids or a finger leather.

I keep sps only in one tank. I keep a LPS/SPS mixed in another. Give me a 1 inch pink tip palletta and a rock covered in Xenia. In 6 months I'll have a nice palleta colony and a rock.

Also, tank age, water change schedule. Are you using RODI water?

This is typical at first. Assure your phosphate and nitrate are not low in readings and you have moderate to medium water flow

It may look like it's totally dead for a couple of days sometimes. Like just laying flat on the sand. But it will usually recover. Remember to keep it off of anything you don't want covered in it.

I tried pulsating Xenia and they did not survive when my tank was newer. These days I can add anything but I really don't want to take chances and feel that I'm pleased with what I have.
