AI SOL Blue optics question

Does the AI Sol blue come standard with the 40 degree optics?

Also have any of you switched to the 70 degree optics and how did you like it?

The 4 middle pucks have 40° optics the 4 outer are 70°

My lights need more of a spread as they are just about 3-4" off the water if that.

I think im gonna try it myself. My tank is only 24" deep and should do fine. If I were you I would give it a shot

I switched mine to all 70s which improved light spread nicely but it really killed the PAR (about 20%)!

Rev, your light spread will improve greatly if you raise them further away from the water

Honestly I would like less intensity and I have no option to raise my lights that I am happy with.
