Can I use the regular airline tubing like what I have for my beta tank from Walmart to join together two small rocks in my reef? Is it inert and will it hurt anything?

It's fine. My reef is fifteen years old ran by bubbling, I've ran all types in it years. Change them when brittled over time. Pretty much all my reef came from wal mart. The vase, pump, heater, line lol just not lights coral and feed

Wal mart is 52% responsible for the presence of pico reefs in the hobby ironically

So like I can cut the tube I have for my vacuum for water changes and use it to attach two small rocks and it won’t hurt anything? I have zoa and LPS. FYI it’s a standard walmrt level water vacuum

For sure it's OK that won't harm anything. The plastic gets brittle over months submerged but no harm
