Akabryanhall's 29G BC LPS/Softie New Orange Mushroom
Sooo I have a few threads up on other sites, but would like to start a new one here, I will save mos tof the boring stuff and just post pics except for the basics:
Hey all,
I am new to this site and in SW keeping. I have wanted a tank for a while. I finally was in a position to get one, but wanted to start small (29g Bio-Cube) to keep the cost down, and since it was my first, hopefully be easier to deal with. About $1200 later I have a setup. I tried to do all of the research to make sure my fish were compatible. I started with the live rock and sand and cycled for 2 weeks...starting slow

"Disasters and Setbacks"
Started with fish selection, was sold a diamond back goby, which would be too big for my tank, and would eat all of the organism in my sand.
Hitchiker Gorilla crab
Bought emerald crab, each ate zoas of mine. The Gorilla ate one of my Armageddon Palys, and the emerald ate 10 tubbs blue zoas. Both are gone.
Next had a Fiji leather that sort of melted away, covered in a red slime.
Bought an elegance coral that stayed healthy for a bit. Then my royal gramma disappeared and caused an ammonia spike that my elegance disagreed with and it died.
The same spike stressed out my clowns 2 Black oscillaris) and triggered a brooklynella outbreak. I ended up catching it too late for the male and he died. I managed to save the female with a medicated freshwater dip.
etc had a few corals pass on by being stung
Got two fish recently, a Midas Blenny and tiger jawfish. Both died. The jawfish found a gap in the back of my hood and jumped. The Midas Blenny had an infection and didn't last a week. I thought he was eating but it wasn't enough.
