American Marine Pinpoint Salinity Monitor

I'm kind of new to the hobby is this a good Salinity monitor, does anyone is using one of these??

salinity does not change if you top off for evap....save you $$ and buy a pH controller.....can monitor pH and then when Ca reactor time, you have another use.

Just my thougths.

I have one, and it seems to work pretty well. I use it before and after water changes, to make sure everything is ok.

It is just a little quicker and easier than the refractometer.
