Well I just flipped him right side up again and turned my power head in another direction a few minutes ago and he is upright now but it looks as if parts of it fell off onto my sandbed they are glowing from the moonlight led's maybe that will help? I will post if he flips again

In the sense that its mouth is in/on the sand and the foot is facing up? If so, that isn't a good thing, and should flip it over.
What size tank?
What lights?
How long has the tank been set up?
Current water parameters -- numbers please.
Shipped or from an LFS?
Do you have a sandbed? If so, how deep?

I woke up this mornin and he was flipped over
and his mouth was like this. He's now upright because I flipped him and I put some mysis in the mouth I don't know if its eating it though

Do you at least know your salinity/SG?
It looks pretty beat up -- had to get an exact ID in its current condition. Also, hard to pin down why it won't settle in without knowing your parameters.

Just with a casual glance it looks stressed. Nems just blowing around in a tank is usually not a good sign.
Can you do a full water paramter check including ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, alk, etc?
Also, if possible I would put him where is is getting plenty of light and attempt to bury the foot very gently. None of my carpets are much of a rock climber unlike some of the other species.

Both Gigs and S. mertensii tend to be rock dwelling anemones. However, with the lack of verrucae (( at least the lack in the pictures )) I don't believe it is either one of those. However, not 100% sure it is even a hosting anemone.
