Getting ready to plumb my sump from my living room to my basement. (Got a larger sump and want a maintenance room so I dont have to haul buckets up and down the steps. Was curious about the different pvc sizes, schedule 80 and what my inside diameter would be on the pipes. Any help with this would be appreciated...

Google is your friend in these instances. All that info can be found with a search, including max gravity flow rates. Here is a sample size chart

I would say to not getting to technical going to sch 40 would be substantial we can pump enough psi to damage the piping. If you want to feel secure sch 80 just has a thicker inner wall. I'm doing the same project and I'm doing sch 80. The only reason why I am doing sch 80 is because of rodents. I don't have that problem but if I do and they feel any moisture or here water they will test it out. thats why I won't do flex to easy for a little mice to puncture it. Hope this helps
