I'm not really new to the hobby but wasn't sure where to post this.

Our 210 gallon tank has been set up for 8 months now. Our clown fish have been laying eggs like crazy the last month or two.
Of coarse they just get eaten every time by the other tank mates :(

Is there anything we can do to stop the eggs from being eaten? I should say, they are eaten right after they hatch. The clown fish are incredibly attentive to the eggs

The trick is either move the fish to another aquarium or know when the fish is getting ready to lay the eggs and suck them out with a hose when they do. Otherwise they become a snack

Step 1 is to make sure you are ready to do what it takes to raise the larvae. Idk how much you know so I apologize if this is redundant but... clowns are born into a larval stage and need live food called rotifers that you have to culture. The larvae are so small that any more water movement than a small airline tubing bubbler will kill them and anything in the tank that can will eat them.
For some reason clownfish love the texture of those terra cotta clay burnt orange plant pots or the underside of tile. Idk why but they LOVE IT. I tossed a pot in with my fish right by the rock they were currently laying eggs on and the very next spawn was right on the pot! Then they hatch on the 8th or 9th night. Depending on the temperature. (Warmer is shorter). I have a little experience and would love to try to help!
