Hi with my new tank build for the overflow, rather than having a ghost type overflow (full box inside and out) I was hoping to just "glue" a perspex one inside so there is no gap behind it. I have this type on my current tank and while it works fine vetimid snail have a tendency to camp between the narrow space of the glass tank and box. I am hoping to eliminate the gap by mounting directly to the glass on the inside. On the overflow outside I was planning on using glass and just siliconing it together. From my boating days I have used sikaflex polyurethane before it it seems to hold up better then silicone when bonding these two materials.
anyone used it before?
