Hey guys. Trying to figure out my skimmer and media filtration situation with my aquatop 40. I was planning on getting the aquamaxx 1.5 hob skimmer and I believe that goes into the second chamber. I also heard people ditch the media filtration set up the tank comes with and I saw a few people using the intake media basket and filter floss. The filter floss goes into the first chamber and the intake media basket goes into the second.
How did you guys set up your tank with the aquamaxx 1.5 hob?
