Noobish question but I've been wondering if it's possible to have an automatic doser without a sump. I have an AIO tank and I noticed that the auto-dosers I've been looking at are placed on top of the sump, so the 2-part simply goes into the sump...

Is there such thing as an auto-doser that's placed under the tank that somehows pumps upwards and into my return section on my AIO? Thanks.

Sure! Just dose in a high flow area of the tank. I'd put the pumps behind the stand, in the wall, on a bookshelf, *whatever* then run the tubes up, behind the tank, so it's less of an eyesore.

Look into a peristaltic dosing pump for the best solution. You will also need to either setup timers for them (calculators are all over the web) or get a controller for them.

Some good sources are:

[/URL] and many more are out there. Some even have built it controllers like the Bubble Magus setup.
