I had to push out the delivery of the tank from 4/12 to 4/25 due to coming up business trip. This week I also visited several other LFS that was on the recommended list. That's all I got for this week.

11 days to go till I take delivery of the tank. I still have to follow up with CDA tomorrow if we are still good for the 25th and I have to book my appointment with the movers.

Update on the tank - I was informed that the stand and tank was shipped out on Thursday. The arrival date to the terminal will be about 7-10 days after that. Therefore, it might be a few extra days past the 25th.

However, this week I did pick up a new toy. I saw a great deal on the Samsung Galaxy A9+ tablet for $130. I'm going to mount this onto the cabinet for the Hydros controller.

The tank is in transit and is estimated to arrive at the freight terminal on 4/30. I have movers scheduled to pick up the tank on 5/2. For this week, I also picked up 2x 20g Brutes. Originally I was going to get a 32g Brute, but since I don't have a lot of space to store it, I think the 2x 20g Brutes will work.

So what's the verdict?

I took delivery of the tank and stand on 5/2. There was signs of physical damage to the stand by the freight truck where the metal frame's paint was scraped and damage to the side panels. The stand is also not built to specification. The tank itself seems to have no physical damage visible. I'm waiting to hear back from CDA on the stand.

In the mean time, I'm working on how I want to mount the 80/20 to support the lights. Either drilling into the stand or drilling into the walls.

CDA reached back to me and will be sending me a paint and epoxy kit for the stand and panels. I spent most of the week trying to figure out how I am going to apply 80/20 onto the stand for the lights. I wanted to try not drilling into the metal stand, but I think I'll have to. I've also decided to make it motorized.

With the repair kits sent by CDA, the stand and the panels looks like it was never damaged. I also received the electric desk stand frame for mounting the light. I am now just waiting for the T-slotted aluminums to arrive later this week and then I can start building the light mount.
