SCIENTIFIC NAME: Chaetodon bennetti

COMMON NAME: Bennets Butterflyfish

SIZE: 7†(18 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE: 75 USGal (284 L)

FOODS & FEEDING: Feeds on live clams, encrusting invertebrates on live rock, and filamentous algae. Feed a minimum of 3 times per day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY: No

CAPTIVE CARE: This species is difficult to acclimate to captive systems and is a very finicky eater. It is not recommended for home aquaria, due to its poor survival and specialized diet. Prefers temperatures in the range of 72 - 82 F (22-28 C) and requires several hiding places with ample swimming room.
