Im currently searching for a bottom dweller fish for my 20g tank. I’ve been thinking of getting a yellow watchman goby. What other suggestions you guys have?

Yellow Watchman Gobie, and Tiger Pistol Shrimp. Avoid the Japanese Pistol Shrimp, they can get mean, and kill all your invertebrates. Also a Randell, can end up in your filter. You can put a Cleaner Gobie, in the same tank, they will ignore each other.

I don't know that I would recommend this personally. Mandarin's need a bunch of space to hunt for pods, and a 20G isn't really capable of supporting a healthy sized pod population...

There have been a few great recommendations already here. Many of the Gobies will be good, but I'd try to stick to the species that are 2" and less when fully grown personally.

true, sorta …but also doable as I’ve had a few Mandarins trained on frozen
