Torch coral is not as extended as usual. Seems to covered in extremely tiny black bugs crawling all over the polyps. What are these? Assuming some sort of pest and a dip is required?

Okay so I dipped the torch in Coral RX but it did not seem to kill off the bugs. I see conflicting info everywhere on these. What should I try? Bayer, Interceptor?

I see conflicting info everywhere on these.
There are a lot of different species of parasitic pods (most have very specific host coral preferences, but they may or may not branch out in aquariums if they don't have access to their preferred foods), so that may explain some of the conflicting info.

That said, IIRC, I believe most people use Interceptor (if they can get it) these days.
