They're expected to arrive in early January of 2019, but you can pre-order now if you want to ring in the new year with one of the most coveted clownfish around. The prices will be the same as the original batch - $300 for one or $500 for two.

How did the first group that you sold turn out if don't mind saying?

I still have mine that I got from the first batch. It was called “smurf” in the first batch. Never had a problem with him (now a her.). She’s paired up with another clown and host in a BTA all day. Super cool fish and everyone comments on how awesome she looks.

How did the first group that you sold turn out if don't mind saying?

There were 22 in the first group. One of the large hatcheries got a pair. The rest went to private owners AFAIK. A few had been resold or traded so I'm not sure their status. If you ask around I'm sure people will tell you how theirs are doing.

Update: the fish are expected to arrive in the week of 1/21. Here's a video sent from the breeder on what we can expect to get in this batch:

20-25. So far we have 9 solid pre-orders and at least 14 fish pre-sold .
