I saved this guy from basically being flushed down a toilet, but have no need for him as I'm going to have clams, so he obviously won't work in my tank; he'll be going into my quarantine tank here shortly.

Looks great, super healthy, good size, great color, and I've seen him eat like a pig. I'd love to trade him for something reef safe, a frag, or whatever really...

Why would anyone just flush a perfectly fine animal??
Good for you for saving the cute little guy!
If you were close, I'd gladly set up a nice fowlr tank for him. He's Beautiful!

Not quite so literal as that... I'm sorry, I always have to remind myself that hyperbole works much better in person, rather than through text. This person bought it because it looked pretty, knowing nothing about it beyond that. When it started eating his clams and softies, he was basically going to throw it in a tiny desktop tank and, if it made it, great, if not, ah well.

Obviously it wouldn't have made it, so I bought the poor little dude. I'd happily keep him, I just don't have a place for him outside of QT. lol

Ah, I understand. He is a gorgeous fish. I see why the other guy was impulsive.
Im sure he'll find a home soon.
And again, awsome on your part to realize where this would've went if you didn't step in. ;Couchpotato

It's the least I could do... I can't deal with animals needlessly suffering, even if it is just a fish. Yeah, I'm sure somebody will take him.

He is beautiful! More pics!!!

I'll put some up a little later. I put a couple of other fish in along with him, don't want to kick the lights on just yet, give them some more time to settle.
