I have heard that these are very difficult to keep... Is that true for the people that experience with them?

IME and from people I've spoken to who have fragged their colonies, small frags do not do well. As long as this piece has been around you would think we would see more of it but we don't.

this is very true as I fragged my ft frag last year small size and didnt survive almost lost my MC to sandy back in October but has since bounced back in full :bigsmile:

That's not a lot of time. Frag looks great! I love that chalice...even with all the new rainbows coming out that piece will always be a favorite.

Very sensitive from my experience. I got a frag recently that receded like crazy on me for no reason. All my chalices are thriving. Soo far it stopped receding and I'm hoping it'll fully recover.
