Hello, I'm not at all familiar with actual SPS types and names, can someone tell me what specifically this is, and whether it's normal that the polyps are never visibly extended? It has grown visibly since I added it to my tank.

Hello!
I believe that this is an anacropra. Please google this and compare with your coral.
The polyps are usually not as extended as most acros.
Cheers!
