New office nano tank layout. Christmas gift from my kids. Cycled and two clowns. Lights off for awhile now. Coralline algae scraped and added from my main tank. Playing the waiting game and enjoying the clowns in the office. Coral decisions to make between now and then.

Aquascape for my new Red Sea Reefer 300xl G2 build. Used macro rock pieces with glue and Aquaforest stonefix to strengthen further. Its inspired by the bonsai look. I would give the inspiration credit to @jagaquatics Australia. His scapes are amazing on his youtube channel. I have used the BRS base rocks to make it look like a tree and not like a dinosaur skeleton. I have left some hiding places and caves at the base for the fish. Used the rule of third rule for aesthetics and thus a complementary scape to the right it will be a SPS dominant tank with mainly acros!

Posting here, posting there. Aquascape try #1.
My rockscape is finished. Just need to do some additional epoxy where some of the branches broke. I glue them but will wrap epoxy around for extra strength. Not totally to scale--a few inches short on L and W
Tank is RS Reefer 3xl 900 and is due to be delivered by LFS Oct 6th

Where did you find that branch rock? Quite nice.

Ok everyone, I’d welcome any feedback! I’m trying to scape my new 180 gallon build. I learned from my 65 that arches look cool but shadow a lot.. also on my 65 I used e-Marco cement and built structures. From that I learned that it’s very difficult to remove parts of encrusted growth or etc. so on this scape everything is wedged into place and pretty solid but can be removed piece by piece if I need to. Not to mention the to of the tank is 6’ high and I need a step ladder to get anything in or out. The tank will hopefully be sps dominant. But mixed reef in the end.
please feel free to share your thoughts!

Looks great. Would you want to try any more height on the right? Balancing though that can go unheeded.

Thank you. I don’t think I want to add too much height on the right as I don’t really want the symmetrical look. The left side is 15” tall which follows the 2/3rds rule.
I feel like there are tons of hiding holes and swim throughs for fish. I’m concerned that as the tangs get bigger it could be a tight fit though. My big fish are a foxface, purple tang and two spot bristle tooth. Eventually I’d like to add one more or possibly two. I’d love a yellow but a blonde nasso is the dream fish. I like the powder blues, and Red Sea sailfin, but I don’t know…

I am so stealing this arc! And the last one . I am starting on my new aquascape. The question is: some fish need caves. I don’t see the room for them to hide
