Hey Joe, do you run the fuge light 24/7? I rub mine on an opposite light cycle to my DT lights with a slight overlap. PH seems to remain pretty constant.Well if dumb questions is what you want, here ya go. I have a 18 gallon refugium on a 72 gal display I harvest about 3 gallons of chetto every 2 weeks, my ph swings about .3 every night from 8.3 during the day to 8.6 at night. Should I turn down my light?
Any online sources for the colorful ones?

By my crabs and have beards?
Not right now, it seems since the chaeto's been online this has dissipated, all the others still grow in the fuge under the Kessil 380. Is there any benefit to that stuff?Hey siggy,
Do you still have this algae growing from your overflow ?
I could mail you what I have available only a 15 minute drive away if it's legal. I don't know how US customs handles living plants coming from Australia. If ok, I would do it but postage costs would probably be expensive. I wouldn't want to earn anything. Just cover the postage and I'm in.Any online sources for the colorful ones?
Except don't forget that Caulerpa, Halimeda and the other siphonous macroalgae are gigantic single cells!Se
Seaweed and macroalgae are the same, multicellular marine algae.
Micro algae are unicellular, single cells or grouped together.

I was wondering if you could tell me what this macro is pleaseHey everyone! We just set up our new ALGAE DISCUSSION area on R2R with forums for nuisance algae (which we've had for a while now) and now our brand new MACROALGAE forum!!
Please help us fill up this forum with great content about all things MACRO! If you keep a refugium, display refugium, or maybe even incorporate macros into your display, then this forum is for YOU!
We need some of you guys and gals who know macros to write up some cool content that will help us all learn more about the best practices with growing and incorporating macros for all of their great uses. Please share your tips and experiences with us here. Also, for those of you with macro questions, we need you to post those here too!!
Here is a hashtag that we need some of you macro experts to subscribe to: #macromasters We'd also love for some of you who are really passionate about macroalgaes to subscribe to this forum and help us out with answering posts in here!
The rest of us can use this hashtag to ask those with more experience to help us out with questions and suggestions.
Let's populate this thread with some great macro pics!!!
