I purchased a brand new MP40QD today (5/4/24). When I try to connect to Mobius it doesn’t appear but it does appear under legacy devices. When I try to update it, I get a failure. See attached images. I should also note that I’m using the MXM for Apex for my other devices. I'm trying to add this device to Mobius and will transfer over to MXM once its connected. Could the MXM somehow be inferring with adding new devices?

You got further than I did with a pair of mp60qd's... ended up just using the separate controllers

Anything is possible, but I doubt that mxm is what's causing the legacy update to fail.

You can try the factory reset of the NEW 40 and try again.

Of that doesn't work, perhaps creating a new tank just to add the current firmware to it might be the fix....

Update. I was able to connect with Ecotech customer service. The radio error is due to a bad RF Chip. For most radio or connectivity issues, they suggest you remove and reinsert the RF chip (see video below). Unfortunately, that did not work. Since the pump is new and within warranty, they are sending me a new chip.

Update. New driver came in and everything worked like a charm. Although a little annoying to have the issue, Ecotech's customer service is excellent!
