I've been battling brown clove polyps for a couple years now, and I can seem to get rid of them. They are driving me crazy. They guys are tough. I've read everything I can on how to eradicate them, and I've tried the following:
1. Fenbendazole - killed them for little while but then couldn't put any softies or shellfish back in for months. They still came back!
2. Brushing and scrapping the rock
3. Removing the rock and drying it out. Putting back into the tank and then seeing re-emerge again
4. Placing epoxy over them.
5. Tuxedo Urchin
I end taking apart my rockwork to treat the infected pieces just to control them. Let me know if you have any new ideas. Thanks in advance.
