I have a 90 all in one system that was my sump for my old tank. I'm going to be putting a glass 210 in soon and I have been wanting to install baffles into my sump. I also have been trying to figure out how I can use the "filter" as my refugium. I understand that I will need to use a small pump to pump water back into the sump. What type of acrylic would y'all use and have y'all ever seen something like this before? I will post pictures of the sump tomorrow.

Here is the sump. The measurements are 48" × 18" × 20"

The water will flow from right to left since it is backwards. Just thinking about using this section for a refugium.

If I remove the top panel completely would that weaken the structural integrity of the sump?

I personally think you're going to want a bigger sump then that little built in will provide you.

Thought about turning that whole 90 gal tank into a sump?

That is the idea, I was just planing on using the "filter" part of this tank as a refugium and have my skimmer in the main body of the tank. Where the top right of the tank is cut is where my skimmer sat before. It was just very difficult to keep it right since the water level didn't stay the same.
