things are about to get crazy

this build is gonna replace my 210 aga sps tank
it was a nice tank but 15 years old
I have heard of horror stories of tanks split at seams as they age so I decided to upgrade to a new custom miracles tank once I got the ok from the wife
If anyone is contemplating using Miracles in canada i would highly recommend them i called derek every few weeks with questions until the tank came in. It was super easy and he gave me a ton of suggestions.
tank just came in so planning on plumbing in the next 2-3 weeks

The tank is in the wall and replaced a small wet bar so plumbing was easy to access

In about two weeks I’ll have a bunch of reef buddies to help swap out the tanks and redo plumbing

it has the setup for roller mats but i’m not sure yet if i’m gonna get them yet

filled and cycling with dry rock that’s been in saltwater for 4 months
i’ve added all kinds of. bottled bacteria
lights still off for now

added 4 x mp40s
2x mp60s
and 2 more xr30 blues g6 (total of 5)
just finished ugly stage and added a ton of snails

hoping to finish the woodwork cover soon

last week had an algae bloom
tank got super cloudy
not sure why
i couldn’t see the back of the tank or most of the rocks
i added a uv sterilizer, some sand in glass jars in the sump
and in within a few days things cleared up

6 days later ….
also added a few corals thanks to a few reefing buddies
