cal, low?

i have aroud a 63gal setup total, and my cal is only 380, i have been trying to raise it alittle at a time over the last week, dosent seem to go any higher, iam using the 2 part b ionic at 16ml each, any ideas

The only dumb question is the one not asked.

People with calcium reactors have awesome sps dominated tank with 380ppm calcium. So you could actually be fine.

But to be sure look at this thread I started here:

using that diy method you should have no problem keeping calcium at 400-420 and alk 8-12, magnesium 1300-1500 or so.

But it is best to tackle all those things to keep them in balance. high alk can result in low calcium for instance.

If its too low then calcium will precipitate. keep it 1500+. I've seen some folks go above 1600 and it helped get rid of hair algae :)

380 is a good number for Ca
