Good morning fellow reefers!
I decided to go back to tinkering with a Ca Rx and I remember now why I could not sleep at night while tuning these things! So, here is my setup: 180 gallon main with 35 gallon sump. Low pH was my main issue in the main display since I was running 200 ml/min thru the reactor. I decided to slow that rate to 15 ml/min last night and this morning my main display pH was 7.8 (up from 7.6 last night at the end of my peak lighting period!) The real question is will my effluent be more saturated with Ca & alk now since it is spending much more time in the reactor & can a slow drip like that keep up with a medium demand system?
Thoughts?
