Can i put dry rock an established tank

As i have a 30 gallon tank that I have had running for about year and half and I want to add some more rocks I heard some people say you can add them right in and some say you have to cycle them.
anymore help would be appreciated

You can add more rock to an established tank. That dry rock will likely cycle and go through its own uglies for awhile, but it shouldn't crash the tank or anything like that.

Fine to add dry rock. It won't cycle as such, it will just gradually get inhabited by bacteria and small organisms and alga etc etc.
