one died after 24 hours, couldn't see any marks, injuries, ICH or anything. I also know that they have been with LFS for a while. now about seven days later the smallest Chromis dies. i noticed it hasn't eaten in the last 24 hours, suddenly found it dead at the bottom of the qt under the heater? when I lifted the heater, it swam in all directions, up and down, etc.
i startet to medicat day one with copper,
taking no chances after two rounds of ICH and 60 days of empty dt. Do you think they die because they are pecked at by the other chromis fish?

Tough to say.

Did the dead fish have ripped fins? That is a common sign of aggression.
Did you see rapid breathing in the fish before dying?
Is the water testing good?

I've kept many fish over the years but I never had luck with chromis
They can grow fairly large but I gave up trying to keep them. I am sorry for your loss

What level of copper did you use and how did you test copper level?
Additionally, was dead chromis found with mouth open or closed?
As stated by Jay, they are known to fight and squabble with each other.

I use cupramine. I dont need to mesure the concentration. mix a large 50l bucket and dose the right amount there according to the instructions. changes the water frequently in a small qt tub with a lid (small slip) have done the same with ocelsris fishes for a month without problems. I think it it agression from the lager chromis towards the submissiv ones
