Clarisea Sk3000 elbow fitting doesn’t fit

Clarisea Sk3000 elbow fitting doesn’t fit My 1” PVC. I bought is from a Canadian retailer.

On the elbow, on the end that connects to the clarisea is marked 1” and on the other end marked 32 inside a circle.

Please advise
