I am moving some MarinePure cubes to a new tank. They have algae on them along with some bristleworms. They have been out in the air for 24 hours and I have gently washed the worms off as best I can.
What is the best way to get rid of the algae and any work remains left in/on the cubes? Does bleach work or should I just scrap it and buy new ones?

Id soak them in rodi water, maybe change the water in 24 hours and do it again. brush all the junk off with a brush. and rinse with rodi. let them totally dry for a few days. Should be good to reuse again.

Give them a period of darkness. It will flake off

Thanks. No bleach solution to clean them out?
Personally I wouldnt. They are really porus, lots of places water goes. Id worry about not getting all the bleach out. RODI should kill off any pests in there.
