Is it wired for clownfish to use hair algae as an anemone ? I don’t have a problem with it I was just wondering if anybody had experienced this with there clowns?

Haven't experienced it myself but I have heard other having this going on in their tanks :upside-down-face:

If you have enough hair algae in your tank for your clowns to host, then id get on it straight away :D

Remove as much as you can manually and address the reason why you have it :)

Clowns will allow anything to host them. The first year my return nozzle hosted my clowns. Then my very accepting duncan took over the duties. Not sure if that will stick or they will move on to something else.
