Ever since I’ve gotten my Purple Tang (5 days ago now), all its poop is like diarrhea almost. I’ve fed frozen brine, nori, and TDO pellets, and when it poops it’s a lot of debris - like almost everything it’s eaten whole but with a brown tint - not standard stringy poop.

It eats like a champ and belly grows. Should I be concerned?

Fish's systems are super inefficient and tangs nibble on stuff all day long and most of it doesn't get digested well.
That's why there are millions of animals evolved to further break down fish waste.
A lot of anemones are basically fish toilets. Most coral likes fish poop too.

So it should resolve itself in due time? I’m just worried the Tang isn’t getting the nutrients it needs since it’s just going right through its system without completely being digested.

It will never look like what you think looks "healthy."
My tang is 12 years old and never done anything but what yours does.

Oh wow, that’s promising. I figured it would at least come out more clumpy and stuck together, but it’s all just individual pieces that basically look exactly how they were taken in but just brown lol
