Copper tester options

The only other test out there that I've found for high range copper products is the API kit. It is actually pretty accurate if you read the results on a spectrophotometer(grin) but the human eye just can't read that test at all!

What you can do is mix up five gallons of water, add the proper dose of copper power, mix well and test it with the API kit. Take a photo of that color change, that's what you want to aim for a full dose.

Or contact Fritz and ask them if they know of a copper test that works. Hach makes a copper test that uses the same reagent as the Hanna tester, but it isn’t sold in the pet trade as far as I know.
