Coral acclimation

15min tank, 10min dip and into the tank we go!

I float for 15 minutes, dip in coral rx, then put in my tank on a frag rack about 2/3 down the side of the tank.

I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER drip acclimate a coral...NOT EVER! It's a pointless step that is not needed at all. Temp acclimate? yes! Dip the coral? YES!!! Light acclimate, once it is on the tank? Absolutely!

Corals do not have respiratory systems, therefore the do NOT need to be drip acclimated. Twenty plus yers of keeping corals and I have never acclimated a single one.

I haven’t acclimated a coral at all , and i haven’t lost any coral besides when the urchin decided to hide my poc frag lol
