Good evening, I had the maintenance done on my tank today by a few fellows from a reputable place. They told me not to feed the coral everyday and instead to only feed once a week. I currently don’t have any fish since I had an ich outbreak about a month ago. I do have a few blood red shrimp, some cleaners, snails and crabs, however. What do you guys think?? I guess they are trying to help me keep my tank clean, but is that going to affect the coral at all? They did mention that the strong lighting will keep them healthy and strong..

For the coral it depends on phosphorus and nitrate. If you have detectable levels in the water they will be fine. For the clean up crew I would just throw in a wafer or two once a day and they should be ok.
