I would but I really need to adjust the wall thickness on the mag holder, I feel it's a bit thin on the sides.

I use epoxy to seal a plastic coated magnet in the holder and capped. PTEG is not always 100% waterproof, always a possibility of micro pores, enough walls and it probably would never leak. Soo with the epoxy, then a coated magnet, should be 100% safe. But you know that, I'm just rambling in case anyone else is wondering.

I use the 2 part resin marine epoxy, but it wouldn't work in your situation. I wash all parts with dawn to make sure I remove any residue.

Epoxy putty like JB water weld can stick to it, but you would need to be sure it's good and clean. Never tried it underwater against glass though.

I know everyone says super glue is super glue, it is to an extent, but some of the cheap stuff seems to fail quickly for me.

that's on my overflow box. there's another magnet on the other side of the box holding it up. thanks for the tip.
