just found this thread - the owner of my LFS was recommending Coppersafe for me over Cupramine as she says she has had better luck with it and feels it's easier on the fish. I've been using cupramine and have had success with it. I did find that you need to go slow with the dosing with it as well. I typically started at half the recommended dose and tested daily. After I got a therapeutic level, it generally stayed stable, but I killed some fish the first time I used it by following the directions on the bottle.
